Driebergen will stop as general director of FC Volendam on 1 July 2025. In a response, the club writes that the decision was taken by both parties in mutual consultation. “FC Volendam thanks Cees for his efforts, cooperation and involvement during the past year and wishes him every success in the future.”
“I would like to thank employees, supporters and sponsors for the collaboration,” writes Driebergen. “I have worked with everyone in a pleasant way. I wish the club every success in the Eredivisie.”
