Civil Protection of the Generalitat has activated this Saturday night the alert of the Inuncat emergency plan, before the Heavy rain forecast for Sunday afternoonespecially in the regions of pre-coastal center, the Central Cataloniathe northern crown of Barcelona metropolitan area and the north eastern thirdl, with special incidence in the southern regions of the province of Girona.
According to him Meteorological Service of Catalonia (Meteocat), on Sunday the probability of exceeding the threshold of 20 liters per square meter in just 30 minutes in the regions said regions increases, with the possibility that this rain arrives locally in the form of storm and hail.
