Actor Tom Holland (30) has confirmed his marriage to actress Zendaya (29). He does this in the American magazine Esquire. The reason is the fake AI wedding photos that circulated on social media and have received 10 million likes. His grandmother even thought she wasn’t invited.

Millions of people saw the images online. Spider Manactor Tom Holland together with his new bride Zendaya. Together they drink champagne on Lake Como. Small detail: the images were completely fake. The marriage, on the other hand, was very real.

However, his grandmother also saw the images and asked her grandson if she was not invited. Esquire Holland therefore asks whether he should send similar messages to other family members. “No, because they were all there,” he responds.

Holland does not say what the wedding looked like. “You’re not going to get more than that,” he says briefly. The actor does talk about his relationship with Zendaya: “Our work can involve very stressful situations and it is very nice to have a relationship that forms a solid foundation and can withstand the test of time.”

‘My person’

The message is that they understand each other. “So yes, I have found my person. She is my best friend and I am happiest when I am with her. But I have also never felt more supported and safe. Period.”

The couple met in 2016 on the set of Spider Man: Homecoming. Ever since Zendaya showed up at the Golden Globes in January 2025 with a diamond ring, rumors surrounding the couple have been buzzing. The actors, who have always strictly shielded their private lives, have so far chosen not to speak out.
