Two instructors lifted her onto their shoulders, looked her straight in the face and failed to notice that the thick safety cable was still lying unused on the platform. Bystanders screamed, too late. With a powerful swing they threw 21-year-old Maria Eduarda into the 40 meter deep abyss. She had paid 30 euros for a jump to death.
