In a parking garage at De Noorderpoort in the Asser district of Kloosterveen, passers-by discovered around midnight last night that the mirrors of two cars were on fire. The cars were parked side by side, about fifty yards apart. Because bystanders intervened, the fire was quickly extinguished and the cars did not go up in flames.
