Butcher Wim Logtenberg is forced to close his business in De Wielewaal in Hoogeveen. Fellow entrepreneurs will not let him go empty-handed at the end of October

Butcher Wim Logtenberg, together with his wife Marjorie, turns the keys to his business in De Wielewaal in Hoogeveen for the last time on October 21. The entrepreneur is terminally ill and is forced to stop his business.

A customer of Wim and Majorie and colleagues Bernhardus Annen from BenFleuri and Berghuis bakery have started a campaign to prevent him from just leaving. “We want to give him a warm farewell after 28 years. After so many years you can’t say: you walk out of the store and that’s it. That is why we have started a campaign together to offer him a fitting farewell.”

Appropriate farewell

Annen hopes that many customers will participate. “We hope that he will receive a fitting farewell from his store, his customers and De Wielewaal. Everyone can participate. You can do this by walking into the Berghuis bakery or BenFleuri. You will receive more information here and you can participate immediately.”
