Several corps from the area have been deployed. The fire is expected to be extinguished within an hour, the spokesperson said. The smoke is moving north, towards Groningen city, but there is no explicit warning for the area, the spokesperson said.
“It will be smellable in the city, but the smoke development is not of such a nature that a warning has been issued. In general, you should close windows and doors if you are bothered by the smoke.”
