Buddy Guy Releases New Album The Blues Don’t Lie

Blues musician Buddy Guy is back with a new album. The Blues Don’t Lie will be released on September 30th both digitally and on CD. The 2LP set will follow just days later on October 14th.

As a first taster of the new record, Buddy Guy released the single “Gunsmoke Blues” on August 11, which he co-produced with Jason Isbell. “Pre-orders are here possible.

Exclusive guest appearances

In addition to Isbell, Buddy Guy collaborated with other musicians for his latest project, including his producer and songwriter Tom Hambridge. He teamed up with blues and soul singer Mavis Staples on the track “We Go Back.” He also co-produced the political song “Follow The Money” with blues legend James Taylor.
