Brussels Airlines cancels three out of ten flights on the second day of the strike | Domestic

Several destinations departing from and arriving at Brussels Airport are cancelled, as announced yesterday on the Brussels Airport website.

This morning, flights from Brussels to Milan, Frankfurt, Madrid, Hamburg, Toulouse, Copenhagen, Lomé, Nice, Conakry, Bilbao and New York are cancelled.

The scheduled flights from Douala, Bujumbura, Prague, Budapest, Venice, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Madrid, Frankfurt, Milan and Munich were also canceled this morning.

The negotiations between the management of Brussels Airlines and the unions ended in failure last night. Despite a “very substantial” proposal from management, no agreement was reached, the company said.

The Christian union CNE/ACV Puls, which was behind the strike that started yesterday, decided to continue the action today. Cabin crew are demanding better salary conditions and a reduction in workload.
