The 50-hour warning strike on the railways was averted!

The “Tagesschau” first reported that railway circles confirmed the failure of the strike to BILD. Accordingly, the Knallhart union EVG and Deutsche Bahn agreed to a comparison.

The strike was scheduled to run from 10 p.m. Sunday evening to 12 p.m. Tuesday evening. The agreement was reached before the labor court in Frankfurt/Main after Deutsche Bahn filed an urgent application against the strike on Saturday.

The EVG is negotiating with the 50 railway companies about new collective agreements for 230,000 employees, 180,000 of whom work for Deutsche Bahn.
