More than two years ago, in mid-January 2020, Nikkie announced that she is transgender through one of her YouTube videos. Her breasts have been a source of uncertainty since the beginning of her transition. She recently had surgery to have them lifted up. In Make up your mind, the drag queen show in which she judges, she wears a dark green glitter dress. One thing is clear at a glance: her ‘girls’ – as she puts it so colorfully herself – look fantastic in it.
A sea of positive reactions
“You have no idea how much this look means to me,” the 28-year-old wrote on Instagram. “I let my girls hitchhike after being insecure about it since I started my transition. This was the first time ever that I wore a low-cut dress and felt gorgeous. This episode of Make up your mind wearing something like this for the first time in my life felt so special. Okay, so… yay to my girls!” The post can count on a sea of positive reactions. “Beautiful”, for example, thinks singer Davina Michelle. “Congratulations, you look incredible. So happy for you,” said Sarah Tanno, Lady Gaga’s makeup artist. Fellow YouTuber PatrickStarrr is also quite enthusiastic: “YES YES YES!!!! Nice!!!”

In Make up your mind Dutch celebrities are transformed into drag queens. Then a jury has to guess who is hidden behind all the layers of makeup and colorful, outspoken clothing. The idea for the show originated from the brains of Carlo Boszhard and his friend Herald Adolfs. Last year they debuted with an episode in which a dressed-up Peter R. de Vries could be seen.
