Cs, Vox and Valents try to make the squatting of Bonanova profitable
El Kubo and La Ruïna are two spaces that have been squatted for years in the Bonanova neighborhood of Barcelona that, up to now, have gained little prominence. The one who managed to “sneak” the issue into the campaign, and forced the rest of the candidates to position themselves, was the mayor of Ciutadans, Anna Grau. With the polls leaving her out of town hall, three weeks ago she stood in front of the building to protest against the squatting. Since then, it has become a point of neighborhood demonstrations every Tuesday, to which Vox has also ended up joining. The candidate from Valents, Eva Parera, did not do it, although at the time of the call she posted a video in which she claimed the “flag” that has made her her party in the fight against squatting throughout the legislature.
