Last year, American aircraft manufacturer Boeing sold more aircraft than European rival Airbus for the first time since 2018. That was closely related to the fate of the Boeing 737 MAX. That model was detained worldwide in 2019 after two crashes due to a software error. It was only last year that the aircraft was released again, which led to a series of orders from Boeing.
