It was a bloody start to the Olympics for her: in the preliminary round of the women’s ice hockey game on Tuesday, there was a painful scene for the Canadian referee Cianna Lieffers. During the USA-Canada game, USA player Amanda Kessel cut her face. This was due to an unfortunate movement by the American behind the opponent’s goal.
