Behind the scenes at ‘Taboo’: “There is so much shame involved with an alcohol addiction”

This weekend you can watch the fourth episode of ‘Taboo’, you know, the Sunday evening program on One in which Philippe Geubels explores the limits of humor. In this second season we are once again crowded in front of the tube. How do they do that at production house Panenka, we wondered. We go to Mechelen, to Tom Lenaerts’ television shack, for a look in the kitchen behind ‘Taboo’. Director Kat Steppe lifts the lid off the cooking pots for us. “When Geubels asks what he should do, I say ‘cool, Philippe, crazy and nonsense’.”
