Bayern Munich | Lewandowski prepares farewell

Apart from contract talks that have not yet taken place, there are currently no indications that Robert Lewandowski will leave FC Bayern. However, the Spanish newspaper “AS” still claims that the Pole wants to leave the record champions – already this summer.

FC Bayern officials have regularly expressed their appreciation for Robert Lewandowski in recent weeks. Hasan Salihamidzic, Oliver Kahn and Herbert Hainer never seriously doubted the striker’s future in Munich. The Spanish sports newspaper takes care of that.”AS“.

The newspaper reports on Wednesday that the world footballer definitely wants to leave the German record champions in the summer. His goal: Real Madrid.

The Pole is still keeping the option open to end his career with the royal team, the newspaper writes. For this reason, he is said to have instructed his followers to find out whether a move to Spain is possible if the Madrilenians withdraw from poker with BVB star Erling Haaland – as recently reported.

Lewandowski as Plan B to Real Madrid?

At the same time, “AS” claims to have learned from “well-informed sources” who were not named that the name of Lewandowski has not been mentioned directly by the real bosses in recent weeks. However, those responsible for the Spanish record champions should keep the option open of bringing the striker as plan B should the Haaland deal burst.

A sum of 30 to 40 million euros is under discussion as a fee for Lewandowski. Since this sum is below his actual value, Real could lure him with a hefty salary, “AS” speculates.

The Pole is currently said to be earning about as much in Munich as Karim Benzema, David Alaba and Luka Modric in Madrid. In contrast to the Munich team, however, the royals still have a lot of room for negotiation. Lewy could therefore improve his salary in Madrid and rise to the salary dimensions of Gareth Bale or Eden Hazard. Both collect a gross salary of well over 30 million euros in Madrid.
