With four goals in six competitive games, Patrik Schick also demonstrated his scorer qualities at the start of the season. But now the Leverkuseners will lack their best striker.

Bayer Leverkusen has to do without Patrik Schick for the time being. The striker had injured himself in the 2-1 win in St. Pauli and will be missing at least three weeks. Captain Robert Andrich also left the field prematurely – however, the diagnosis is more mild.

According to the club, Schick suffered a fascia injury in the back of the left thigh on Saturday. The Bundesliga club announced on Sunday. The 29-year-old had scored three goals in five league games in the current season.

Andrich had already been replaced with adductor problems in Hamburg at half -time. On Sunday, however, Bayer gave the all -clear: the national player did not suffer any structural injury.
