The water polosters of ZV de Zaan have succeeded in reaching the Champions League main tournament. They beat Nancy 26-4 in the group stage. With that they finish second in the group and get a place in the Champions League.
A very heavy group is waiting for the team of captain Lieke Rgge. Among other things, the Spanish Sant Andreu (the winner of the Champions League last year) and Sis Roma are the opponent in this. First follows the battle for the European Supercup against Sant Andreu on Sunday 12 October.
