Coach Jaka Lakovic’s team won 91:90 (49:50) at the Hamburg Towers on Saturday evening and is still in third place with 26:10 points behind Telekom Baskets Bonn, who have the same number of points. Bayern Munich remain leaders (26:8).
Semaj Christon led Ulm to their fifth win in a row with 23 points, while Maik Kotsar was the best thrower for Hamburg (24). With 20:16 points, the Towers are now in eighth place in the play-off and have to let BG Göttingen (20:14) pass them.
