Barely 20% chance of survival: At 325 grams, Hannah is the lightest British baby in twenty years

325 grams, you read that right. That’s all Hannah Stibbles weighed when she was born at the end of last month in a hospital in the Scottish city of Glasgow. She was given a chance of survival of barely 20 percent, but the brave little one is already breathing independently. For the time being, all doomsday scenarios can therefore be thrown into the trash. Hannah can call herself the UK’s lightest viable baby of the past twenty years.
