Bonn stays on Alba’s heels

In the table, after the 28th match day, the Bonners remain level with Alba Berlin with 26 wins. Bayreuth (5 wins, 23 defeats) remains at the bottom of the table and, with six games left and three wins fewer than Braunschweig on the first non-relegation zone, needs a small basketball miracle to save itself.

Bayreuth with negative record

The 42 points in Bonn also meant the weakest point haul of a team in the current season. Before the debacle of Upper Franconia, which was still winless away from home, the previous season’s minus value was 47 points, which Würzburg had not managed to get past in Berlin.
