Relaxed and confident, Jordy Clasie walked from one microphone to another. The AZ midfielder did this just after the 4-0 win over RKC. The happy Clasie was satisfied with the result, but also indicated that he was surprised by the composition of the opponent’s basic team.
Where Jordy Clasie did not understand why RKC coach Joseph Oosting had almost his entire basic team start on the bench, Pascal Jansen saw that coming. The Alkmaar trainer knew that the Waalwijkers had also started with a B team at the previous cup meetings against Willem II, Harkemase Boys and ADO Den Haag.
