AZ star Jordy Clasie critical of opponent RKC

Relaxed and confident, Jordy Clasie walked from one microphone to another. The AZ midfielder did this just after the 4-0 win over RKC. The happy Clasie was satisfied with the result, but also indicated that he was surprised by the composition of the opponent’s basic team.

Where Jordy Clasie did not understand why RKC coach Joseph Oosting had almost his entire basic team start on the bench, Pascal Jansen saw that coming. The Alkmaar trainer knew that the Waalwijkers had also started with a B team at the previous cup meetings against Willem II, Harkemase Boys and ADO Den Haag.

assist

Clasie did not score against the Brabanders, but he was important in several hits. For example, he gave pressure to the front with the first goal, so that in the end Dani de Wit could take advantage of the loss of the ball at RKC and with the fourth goal Clasie gave the assist to Zakaria Aboukhlal.

Director

Clasie is in his third season in Alkmaar and only seems to get better. As a director, he divides the game and is also increasingly present in the coaching. The thirty-year-old Haarlemmer feels that he should come to the fore after the departure of strongholds such as Teun Koopmeiners, Marco Bizot, Myron Boadu and Calvin Stengs.
