Avatar and The Last of Us are at a standstill due to Hollywood strike: these films and series are also affected | show

The strike in Hollywood has delayed dozens of American films and TV series. Now that the actors have also stopped working, it means that almost all American productions have come to a standstill.

The following blockbusters are in jeopardy:

Wonder Woman 3 (Warner)

Mufasa: The Lion King (Disney)

Spider Man part 4 (Marvel)

– The sequel to the Gladiatorwhich is being shot in Morocco and Malta, has also been delayed

These series have been shut down:

The Handmaid’s Tale season 6

Game of Thrones spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (HBO Max)

Stranger Things season 5 (Netflix)

The WhiteLotus (HBO Max)

The Last of Us Season 2 (HBO Max)

Emily in Paris season 4 (Netflix)

Cobra Kai season 6 (Netflix)

– Contrary to previous messages, the recordings are from House of the Dragon (HBO Max) though. Although the Game of Thrones prequel is American, most of the cast is British. Those actors are affiliated with the British trade union Equity. Members of this organization are not allowed by law to go on strike in solidarity with their American colleagues who are members of the trade union SAG-AFTRA.
