In the general assembly of Altıntepsispor, one of the 1st Group teams of the Istanbul Super Amateur League, Okan Turan was elected as the chairman once again.
Turan, who took the duty once again by taking the votes of all the members in the general assembly, which was held with a single list, said, “As Altıntepsispor, we have undertaken the mission of being a breeder club. Our goal is to train players for professional leagues and to protect the children in our neighborhood from bad habits… We want to raise new Arda Turans.”
Okan Turan, brother of Galatasaray national football player Arda Turan, took over the presidency from his father Adnan Turan a while ago. Okan Turan, who was born in 1993, attracted attention by playing a role in the TV series “The Bandit Does Not Rule the World”.
Arda Turan played football in Altıntepsispor before going to Galatasaray’s infrastructure. The Green-White team, operating in the Altıntepsi District of Bayrampaşa, also took part in the 3rd League for a while.
