Prof. Dr. SJC (Sigrid) Hemels becomes Councilor of State in the Advisory Division of the Council of State. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect on June 1, 2022.
The appointment of Sigrid Hemels (49 years old) is related to her tax expertise. She is currently professor of tax law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
