Appeal judge in the Netherlands obliges Deliveroo to pay couriers according to the collective labor agreement: “Couriers now have certainty about income”

Meal deliverer Deliveroo has suffered another defeat before the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. The court also ruled on appeal that the company must pay its couriers in accordance with the collective labor agreement for professional freight transport. Earlier, the court ruled that the meal deliverers are employees and not self-employed, as Deliveroo claims.
