In Lyubertsy, investigators and prosecutors, together with specialists from the gas service, are investigating the circumstances of an explosion in a five-story residential building, after which one of the residents was hospitalized.
Earlier it was reported that on the evening of February 14 in Lyubertsy one person damaged in the explosion gas in the apartment of a five-story building. According to updated data from the Main Investigation Department for the Moscow Region, the incident happened on 1st Pankovsky Proezd Street. As a result of what happened in the room on the third floor, the front door and window frames were knocked out. The supporting structures were not damaged. There was no fire after the explosion.
The injured man – a tenant of the apartment – was taken to the hospital. His condition is not specified. According to the source TASS, for safety reasons, 12 people were evacuated from the house. The press service of Mosoblgaz stated that the cause of the explosion was careless actions with the gas equipment of the tenant himself.
Investigators and criminologists, as well as gas service specialists are working at the scene. The Moscow region prosecutor’s office is also conducting an audit and controls the clarification of the circumstances of the incident.
