Bob Dylan’s bank account has increased nicely since last summer. The fresh eighties was offered a sum of 200 million dollars (177 million euros) by record company Sony Music, in exchange for the sale of the recording rights to his entire music catalog – all 39 studio albums, 16 compilation albums and a few singles. The American has also immediately sold everything that Dylan will release in the future. That is except the rights to his texts and music compositions, the so-called copyrights. He already sold it to Universal Music Group in 2020 for an estimated sum of 400 million dollars (354 million euros).
