The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced a night attempt to storm the police departments in Almaty and the surrounding area

During the storming of administrative buildings in Almaty and the surrounding area, dozens of participants in the riots were killed. According to the agency Interfax, said the official representative of the city police department Saltanat Azirbek.

According to him, last night, attempts were made to seize administrative buildings, including the Almaty police department and regional police departments.

Also, the Interior Ministry said that the anti-terrorist operation in the city continues. Residents of several blocks at once were asked not to leave their homes.

Earlier, the publication “Sputnik Kazakhstan” reported that the military in armored vehicles cordoned off the central square of Alma-Ata and entered into a firefight with a group of pogromists. Around 8:00 Moscow time appeared messages that the cordon was removed.
