Alfredo Morelos moves to FC Santos – move to Fenerbahce burst

Was among most valuable clubless

One of the most valuable clubless is from the market: Alfredo Morelos. The former Colombia international, whose contract with Glasgow Rangers expired, is not moving to Fenerbahce as originally planned, but to FC Santos. The 27-year-old was presented there as a newcomer on Monday and received a contract until 2025.

Morelos is leaving Europe after six and a half years scoring for HJK (Finland) and Rangers (Scotland), contributing 170 goals and 71 assists in 331 games. Most recently, there were signs of a move to Turkey, but because Fenerbahce could not sell ex-BVB professional Michy Batshuayi (29), a replacement was no longer needed and Morelos had to look around again. Videos on social networks had already shown him at Istanbul Airport before the planned signature.
