New scanning method captures life of pharaoh Amenhotep I
Cairo – After 3500 years, the mummified body of Amenhotep I reveals some of its secrets. One of them: the pharaoh had surprisingly good teeth. Furthermore, he was around 35 years old, was 1.69 meters tall and circumcised. He was buried with 30 amulets and a gold belt.
