Adidas and Prada bring their recently announced collaboration, the Adidas for Prada Re-Nylon Collection, to the Metaverse.

The digital project, titled “Adidas for Prada re-source,” is a collaboration between the brands, creatives and the community, Adidas and Prada announced on Thursday. Participants from the fields of fashion, design and crypto will be brought together to create a digital work of art inspired by the physical collection.

A total of 3000 works of art are to become the NFT, which the community will submit as anonymous photographs. The NFTs, to which participants will retain full ownership, will then come together as one body of work, designed by digital artist Zach Lieberman.

Lieberman’s artwork will then be auctioned on the NFT marketplace SuperRare. Most of the proceeds go to the non-profit organization Slow Factory and an institute that promotes education. In addition, the 3,000 selected participants also receive a percentage of the auction proceeds for an unlimited period of time with every sale. She could also offer her own NFTs for sale afterwards.

The starting signal for the project is January 24th.
