Accessibility, parking and urinating: 5 x practical information about the Liberation Festival

On Friday 5 May, Zoetermeer is all about freedom. The Market is the place to be, because that’s where the Liberation Festival is held. There is a large stage with performances by bands, dance shows, DJs, famous artists and more. Are you there? Then it is useful to be aware of practical information regarding accessibility, closures and more. You read it below.

Tip: Go to the Liberation Festival on time because it can get busy. The organization advises to be present on the site no later than 6:00 PM (for the evening program). Here you can read the program of the Liberation Festival in Zoetermeer.

Accessibility

By bike

Come on your bike and park your bike in one of the extra bicycle parking facilities around the festival site, on the Marseillepad or in one of the guarded parking facilities in the Stadshart. Please note: the unguarded bicycle shed on the market square is closed.

By tram

Take the tram and get off at the Stadhuis stop. You can walk straight to the Markt via Stadhuisplein.

By car

You can come by car, but take into account crowds. You can park in one of the parking garages in the Stadshart, such as on Italylaan, Denmarklaan or Driekant. You can also park on the Osylaan or behind the Leidsewallen. From there you can walk to the Markt in five minutes.
