“Rehearsals are still in full swing,” says Aagje Vanthomme of VTM Nieuws. “Miguel Wiels’ band faces a big challenge: playing live for 24 hours, without a break, without naps, and so on. Last year he did that with one banana as a snack. A total of 125 artists will come along. They cannot rehearse, it has to be right right away. In any case, there are some ‘speciallekes’ planned, such as some surprising duets. Bart Peeters and Axelle Red, for example, will be on stage together.”
