The A2 near Eindhoven is closed in a northern direction between the De Hogt junction and the Batadorp junction. That’s because of an accident.
There a car drove into a portal, with matrix signs hanging above the road. It is not clear how the accident could have happened.
The main road A2 is therefore closed. Motorists can use the adjacent N2.
Rijkswaterstaat says the road will remain closed for a while. It is not expected to be released until after the evening rush hour.
