The Dwingeler Stroom is perhaps the important set piece for the new play by Stain -free Theater. From April 12, the premiere of the performance is Bridgeabout the Second World War. In addition, they play on both sides of the water.
Not only the actors are on either side of the Dwingeler Stroom, that also applies to the stands for the public. “We are now discovering how to do that,” says artistic director Leander Breen, while he still gives the necessary instructions to the young players. “I do have a plan how we can play both grandstands. But it is just a very large surface that you have to grab, the players must also be trained on it and we worked on that today.”
So young players. It concerns young people from 12 to 24 years old. The youngest is the 12-year-old Mees from Kiel-Windeweer. “I had auditioned for the show because I love theater and it seemed very nice to me. Then I became,” he says. “Actually, play is a kind of game. I like that.”
