3–6 dl boiled potatoes/oatmeal/boiled rice
2–4 dl wheat flour
2–3 dl of milk
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of oil or butter for the dough
2 tablespoons of butter on top
1. Use the previous day’s boiled potatoes or rice or leftover porridge from the morning.
2. Mix all the ingredients into a smooth mass. Use flour according to how much potatoes/rice/porridge you have. The dough can also remain loose if you don’t want to bake e.g. small round patties from it. You can spread the loose dough on the baking sheet with a knife or spatula.
3. Spread the dough in a layer about a centimeter thick on a baking sheet, put knobs of butter on the surface and bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the surface is browned. Cut into pieces and serve hot with butter. If you use more milk and flour, you can easily get two baking sheets at the same time.
