A fire on the fourth floor of a building on Paral lel avenue has forced the evacuation of the Paral·lel hotel, located at number 85, at Poeta Cabanyes street.
Eight crews of firefighters and multiple agents of the local and Catalan police have moved to the area at 8:30 p.m.when the fire has been notified.
Possible cause
The first reports have indicated that it could be a deflagration in the building. But, according to sources close to the incident, this does not affect the equipment of the hotel but rather a house just above. Thus, the hotel has made the decision to evict as a precaution.
