After the renewed riot of Hansa supporters at the guest appearance at Alemannia Aachen, the third division football has now announced consequences for their own fan scene. The Rostockers had demolished seat shells and sanitary facilities in Aachen last Sunday.
“It is pissing me up or just that we are employed almost weekly with topics such as destroyed toilet facilities or other inventory,” Hansa’s chairman of the supervisory board Sebastian Eggert was quoted in a statement on Tuesday evening. “There is no doubt that it has to be over here and now. It will not only be important how the official committees of the association tackle this problem, but above all how the fan scene reacts to it and puts an end to this crap,” Eggert continued.
“It is just frustrating to deal with such topics, to have to apologize to other clubs and, above all, to pay massive punishments.”
– Sebastian Eggert
Numerous supporters of the FCH had kept uphill during the guest performance at Alemannia during the game classified as a risk game, which the FCH lost 1: 2, and partially threw them into the interior. According to Aachener Zeitung, almost 700 destroyed seat shells have to be replaced. According to the first estimates, the total damage amounts to around 50,000 euros. The guest toilet was also devastated, as the Aachen police confirmed to the NDR.
Sale of Away ticket is limited
For the upcoming away games, the Rostockers have therefore massively changed the award principle of tickets. From now on, tickets for the upcoming away games of the North Germans may only be purchased by FCH club members, and each member can only buy a ticket. The same applies to orders of fan clubs, even in these cases only club members received tickets over this path.
Rostock fans again on probation
In addition, the Rostockers expose the behavior of their supporters to the probation and reserve further cuts: “The pre -sale for the outstanding away games of the 2024/25 season takes place from game to game. After each away game, the association will assess whether the fan behavior is justified to continue away from away games on these conditions or the measures are expanded,” said the Mecklenburger in their message. Worst Case is the waiver of calling or returning the next away quota.
Wehlend: “anti -social behavior”
Due to the damage of almost 50,000 euros in Aachen, the club was in contact with the hosts. “I was on site and got a first overview of the vehement damage in the Tivoli guest area. With the Aachenern, we personally apologized for the anti -social behavior of the rioters,” said Jürgen Wehlend, CEO of the FCH. The club wrote further measures regarding the damage incurred.
Alemannia wants to get the money back for the repair work from the FCH, as Aachen’s managing director Sascha Eller announced in the WDR. In the league there is an aggreement up to a certain order of magnitude that the clubs for the vandalism of their supporters pay 5,000 euros, “but that already exceeds everything”.
Hansa wants to change punishments to the cause
Already in the previous week, fans of Dynamo Dresden on the Tivoli had rioted, many seats had just been replaced. In comparison to the destruction of the dynamo fans, the Rostockers were much more targeted, said Eller. The police filed a criminal complaint for property damage and initiated investigations – also against Alemannia fans because of the burning of pyrotechnics.
A fine by the DFB is also due to Rostock. If the rioters are determined, FC Hansa announced that the costs caused to forward to the polluters. If these club members are, they would be excluded according to the rustockers. Eggert, club member and long-time ultra singer since 2003, was confident: “Also in the fans’ scene of FC Hansa Rostock, this topic beats high waves and we see very clearly that almost everyone recognizes the seriousness of the situation.”
