In recent years, Werbrouck has been active as a department coach for Vooruit in West Flanders and previously worked in special education as an orthopedagogue. She wants to take that experience to the parliament. “I am a young mother and I know how important strong and affordable education is. Equal opportunities for every child, regardless of where it is born, is my priority,” she says.
After almost six years, Maxim Veys leaves the Flemish Parliament to fully focus on his ship’s office in Kortrijk. With Werbrouck, Vooruit West-Vlaanderen gets a new MP that focuses on education and equal opportunities.
