Spring temperatures
Where on Sunday and Monday, according to Weerplaza, freezing in the evenings and the mercury during the day does not rise further than four degrees, that will change from Wednesday. “We are still dealing with an east wind from Poland and that is quite cold at this time of the year,” says meteorologist Berend van Straaten of Weerplaza. “Together with clearings at night, this can still make it freezing this Monday.” During the week the wind rotates and we get warmer temperatures from Southern Europe. “Then we can get a touch of spring weather.”

According to Van Straaten, it is not strange that the temperatures suddenly change. “That is quite common in February and March. We don’t really have a fixed interpretation for when we speak of a spring day. But with little clouds and 15 degrees we come close.”
According to Weerplaza, the chance of a shower increases from Friday. Those who already want to go to the terrace must therefore be fast.
