The 32-year-old Weghorst was important for Ajax in Sittard as a substitute. He played a role in the penalty kick that Shawn Adewoye caused and was attentive when Steven Berghuis missed from eleven meters (0-1). In injury time, Weghorst was also at the basis of the second goal of Christian Rasmussen.
