De Haan rents out hotel for Ukrainian refugees

The first people can move in on Tuesday. Mayor Wilfried Vandaele: “First and foremost, we focus on collective reception. For that we made an agreement with the owners of this hotel. The 14 rooms can accommodate 30 people. If necessary, we can also convert some buildings of the municipality and the OCMW for temporary shelter.”

The reception initiative will run for five months for the time being.
