Gentzik suffered a hairline tear in the shoulder and a slight concussion, but does not have to be operated on. At the latest on Thursday, he should be able to leave the hospital and return to Germany.
He wished the rest of the team “get well soon” and continued to write: “Take the whole thing with you that next time you get eight and considerate with each other when you are on the road.”
EM preparations considerably disturbed
The national team was prepared for the railway bike European Championship from 12 to February 12th in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, on the Balearic Island.
