MessyWeekend appoints Peter Ounce Smidt as Sales Director.

In this role, Ounce Smidt will be responsible for global wholesale and will continue to drive the expansion of the Danish eyewear specialist, MessyWeekend announced on Thursday on the career network Linkedin. The company is currently active in 35 markets with over 1,000 trading partners.

According to his own statements, Ounce Smidt has been active on Linkedin as sales director for the Danish sneaker brand Arkk Copenhagen for the last six years. Previously, he ran the footwear specialist agency Basic Need and worked with brands such as Ellesse, Russell and Woden. He also worked for the Danish sales agency Vernon Sport, the Dutch denim brand G-Star and the US brand Ed Hardy in Denmark.
