The number of SMEs in our country will have risen to a record level of 1.33 million in 2023. That is an increase of 2.08 percent, the lowest growth since 2015. Yet a third of operationally healthy companies have insufficient financial buffers to absorb future shocks. This is evident from the annual report from Unizo, GraydonCreditsafe and UCM.
