When he was 20, in fact, twice he tried to pass the tests to get into medical school.
«The second time I couldn’t make it for only seven places: I was almost there” he tells Il Mattino. Then retracing the stages of her life, she explains: «Before going to Milan where I started working as a model after the Miss Italia competition, I enrolled in Ancient Letters in Cagliari. With my parents the deal was simple: without a job I would return home after a month. I practically never stopped and after a while I also started studying acting. I was very lucky.”

Then, in the newspaper, the actress also talks about her private life. Lives in Paris with her partner, the French lawyer Edouard Rigard, to whom she has been linked for eight years. And he does not deny the desire to have children, although he admits: «I have managed to organize many things in my life, but in this case God’s hand was needed». But he continues to cultivate his dream, perhaps following the path ofadoption: «There is also that idea, yes» he admits.

Not just cinema. Among Caterina Murino’s great loves is that of cats. A well-known passion, his, to the point that in the summer he toured Sardinia on board a van to distribute kibble to almost 4 thousand strays.
An experience lived together with her partner, also a cat lover, and of which she says: «The photographer Alessandra Cossu was with us the whole time, who took photos for an exhibition to be set up next April in the Town Hall of Cagliari. We are also editing a documentary filmed in those days. My relationship with cats changed four years ago in Parisat my partner’s parents’ house, where I fell in love with their cat Benito.”

At 47, the actress knows well what she wants from life. And she admits that she has changed over the years: «I have accumulated material things that I no longer care about. What interests me now is leaving signs of life, not material goods” explains.
A clear reference, once again, to his love for animals. On which he points out: «I would never have the courage to do like Brigitte Bardot, who left everything for dogs and animals in general, but to always do more, yes».
