Santtu Kinnunen will continue in the Swiss league next season as well. Current club is Zurich Lions, future Langnau Tigers.

Club change only happens after the season.

– Kinnus has the potential to play a big role in the Tigers, sports director Pascal Müller says on his club’s website.

Kinnunen played the previous two seasons in the AHL club Charlotte Checkers. He is a seventh-round pick of the Florida Panthers from the summer of 2018.

Kinnunen played in the A national team in the Karjala tournament in November. He is also participating in this week’s EHT tournament.

Kinnunen, 25, is a Pelicans recruit. He improved to the elite of the SM league in Tappara in the 2020–22 seasons, the latter of which brought the Finnish championship.
