Lshe was in the pink jersey unveiled today, on Women’s Day. THEthe route already presented in December. All that remains is to warm up your muscles for the 2024 edition of the Giro d’Italia Womenthe first organized by RCS Sport.
The stage race (eight in total) will start on July 7th in Brescia and end on July 14th in L’Aquila.
In Abruzzo the highest climb of the race, lat “Cima Alfonsina Strada” in memory of the cyclist who took part in the 1924 men’s Giro d’Italia. Charity partner of the event is Scarpetta Rossa, the association that has been on the front line against violence against women for ten years. For this reason, the cities touched by the race will be lit up in pink and red: red is the color linked to women and pink to the Giro d’Italia.

The Giro d’Italia Women on the radio
The presentation of the Maglia Rosa is part of the schedule of an initiative linked to 8 March, International Women’s Day, organized by RTL 102.5 – radio partner of the Giro d’Italia Women entitled THE WOMEN OF RTL 102.5 IN PINK JERSEYS which entrusts the hosting of all programs and news, from 6:00 to 18:00, exclusively to its female voices.
At the center of the day, the partnership with RCS Sport and the Giro d’Italia Women 2024, demonstrating the radio’s constant commitment to promoting gender equality and opening up spaces and opportunities for women. This day was in fact the opportunity to present the Pink Jersey of the Giro d’Italia Women 2024, the important cycling competition of which RTL 102.5 is Radio Partner.
